Units UK originally started out as Knowsley Estates which was established in 1985. We specialised in supplying quality affordable housing across the northwest.
In the late nineties we decided to look for new challenges and opportunities within the construction industry where our knowledge and expertise could be utilised.
We noticed that the Industrial /commercial market was noted for it’s poor client service and soleless build quality. We took the view that just as people wished to live in an attractive home they also wished to work in an attractive environment even when their place of work was an Industrial estate. We now bring the quality and finish of the house building industry to the Industrial and commercial sector. |

Our team has been involved with a number of developments across the UK and we have a formidable range of expertise and experience in this industry.
Development & Regeneration
Over the past six years we have started a programme of working along side local councils and regeneration bodies/companies to encourage employment in areas that were underperforming by building units that employers require.

We have developed a strategy in building and developing small to medium sized industrial/commercial and office units. We supply quality workspace in areas of regeneration, which has a significant positive impact on employment by encouraging companies into the area and helping existing companies expand. In our latest development working alongside Wigan Council we have helped develop a new business park creating thirty plus new jobs and encouraged four new companies to Wigan and three local companies to expand. |
